Credits

Nothing renews. Nothing expires. Top up when you run out, or do not.

How credits work

You get thirty credits when you sign up, and one balance covers everything: making CVs, rewriting them, changing how they look, sharing them.

Two things also need a paid account: styled portraits and downloading the file. Both cost real money every time we run them, which thirty free credits would not survive.

Any top up unlocks those for good, whichever pack you pick. It is not a plan and it does not lapse. Pay once and they stay on, even after the credits it came with are gone.

Questions

Why do downloads need a top up?
A file leaving the site is the one thing we actually charge for, so it needs a paid account. Once you have topped up once it stays unlocked, and the download costs credits like everything else. The shared link is free and always will be.
Do credits expire?
No, and neither does the unlock.
Is there a subscription?
No, and there is not going to be one.
Can I remove the line at the bottom of the CV?
On a download, yes, for 25 credits. On the shared link, no. The link is how anybody found this in the first place.
What happens if a generation fails?
You keep the credit. We only charge for a CV that actually arrives.
Can I get a refund?
Email us and we will sort it out. Credits cost a couple of dollars and we are not going to argue with you about it.
Who actually takes the payment?
Creem, our merchant of record. They handle the checkout, the receipt and any tax due where you live, so the charge on your statement comes from them rather than from us. We never see your card details.
Do I pay tax on top?
No. The price on the card is the whole charge, whichever country you are in. Where VAT applies it is already inside that number, and Creem sends it to your tax office. Nothing is added at the last step.
